Appearance Description:
The product consists of a black metal body and matching hex socket screws. The body is cylindrical, divided into upper and lower sections: the lower part is thicker, while the upper part is slimmer and features a positioning protrusion. A silver metal ring (typically stainless steel or nickel-plated) is integrated in the middle, serving as a wear-resistant or decorative element. The entire component is precision-machined and hardened, exhibiting a high-gloss finish. The included hex socket screws secure it to the mold slide base or core insert.

Functional Description:
This is a standard accessory widely used in plastic and die-casting molds, primarily designed to control the travel limit of "sliders" (slides) in the mold.

Travel Limitation:
During mold opening or closing, the slider moves laterally for core-pulling or resetting, driven by an angled guide pin or hydraulic cylinder. When the slider reaches the preset position, the protrusion of the limit clamp engages with a specific structure (e.g., a V-groove or stopper) on the slider, restricting further movement and ensuring precise positioning.
Anti-Collision Protection:
Prevents the slider from over-traveling due to gravity or inertia, avoiding collisions between the angled guide pin and the slider during mold closing, or interference with ejector pins, thereby protecting the mold from damage.
Precision Positioning:
Provides accurate repeatable positioning for the slider, ensuring consistent resetting after multiple cycles to maintain product molding quality.

Installation and Usage

Installation Method:
Use a hex key to tighten the provided screws, securing the limit clamp to the designated position on the mold.

Installation Requirements:
The mold slide must be pre-machined with a corresponding "Λ"-shaped groove or positioning surface.
The mounting holes must be perpendicular to the groove to ensure proper limit functionality.
Maintenance Recommendations:
Regularly check for loose screws and inspect the clamp head for wear.
